We do not have a deadline for receiving applications. Applicants must meet the program eligibility to be approved.
Your application, references and other supporting documents should be submitted to our office at 1850 Smith Street or 3124 Dewdney Avenue.
A home visit will be scheduled with a member of the tenant relations staff. At this meeting, your housing needs and preferences will be discussed and your priority for the program will be assessed. As Regina Housing Authority receives many applications for housing, units must be assigned on the basis of priority for each application. Approval and timing of applications is determined by reviewing fully completed applications including rental history and eligibility for the program.
The priority of each application is assessed using a point rating system that assists in determining who is in most need of housing. Units are not allocated on a first come first served basis.
Approval of applications and timelines associated with assignment of units vary. Upon application you will be assigned a Tenant Relations Officer who will work with you. Should you wish to inquire as to the status of the application please contact this individual.
When your application is approved you will receive a letter confirming approval. If your circumstances change, please contact your Tenant Relations Officer to update your application.
